Kerala GNM Nursing & ANM Admission

Admission to General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM)/Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) - 2025
The Directorate of Health Services and the Director of Medical Education in Kerala have announced the opening of applications for the Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) courses for the academic year 2025-26.

The application period is from August 5 to August 20, 2025. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official LBS Centre website

GNM Nursing and ANM Eligibility and Academic Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must be Indian citizens. Academic requirements differ for each course:
● For GNM: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (or an equivalent) with a minimum of 40% marks in optional subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and a compulsory English subject. Registered ANM nurses who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination are also eligible for reserved seats.

● For ANM: A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (or equivalent) is required, along with the ability to read and write Malayalam.

GNM Nursing / ANM Application Process and Fees
The application process is a four-step online procedure. Candidates must first register and then pay the application fee. The fee can be paid online via credit card, internet banking, UPI, or through a challan at any Federal Bank branch.

Application fees are as follows:

General Candidates (DHS) GNM only ₹400, GNM & ANM ₹600, ANM only ₹300 SC/ST Candidates (DME, DHS) GNM only ₹200, GNM & ANM ₹300, ANM only ₹150

After payment, applicants must upload their photo, signature, and relevant documents. The final step is to provide a final confirmation, after which no corrections will be allowed.

LBS GNM Nursing and ANM Rank List

Provisional Rank List for GNM/ANM 2025 Admissions Published

The provisional rank lists for the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) courses for the year 2025 have been prepared. The lists are an essential part of the admission process, as seat allotments will be based on the rank achieved by the applicants and the options they have submitted.

There are three separate rank lists based on the academic qualifications of the applicants:
Rank List I (GNM - Science Group): This list is prepared based on the total marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics in the second year of the qualifying examination.
Rank List II (GNM - Non-Science Group): This list is based on the total marks secured in the core subjects during the second year of the qualifying examination.
Rank List III (ANM): The rank for this course is determined by the total marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination.

Applicants are advised to check the published lists carefully. If there are any complaints or discrepancies regarding their rank or index mark, they must notify the authorities in writing within the specified period. Failure to do so will make the applicant solely responsible for any consequences. No complaints will be considered after the given deadline.
